Self Improvement Tip of the Day: We All Need Leadership Skills

Are leadership skills important? Leadership skills aren't just for CEO's of large organisation and presidents and prime ministers. It may not have occurred to you, but parents are leaders, so are brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, friends, team mates and colleagues. Leadership is certainly not just about business or work; it's an important skill in all areas of life. Some people my feel more comfortable being a follower rather than a leader, but that doesn't mean they will get through their lives without using leadership skills.

Even a young child who's been given his first puppy needs leadership skills. In fact that's one of the best ways for an adult to practice and develop their skills – by helping their child to develop theirs.

We could all benefit by thinking about and making some effort to become better leaders.
