Self Improvement Tip of the Day: More Reasons For Trying To Be Optimistic

Pessimism and depression often go hand in hand, and there are now more people than ever suffering from depression. Not only that, but the average age of the onset of depression is now so low that many teenagers a treated for depression. What was once considered a disorder mainly suffered by middle aged housewives is now much more widely spread across the population.

There are many different causes of depression and being more optimistic is certainly not a guaranteed cure. However, actively trying to adopt a more positive outlook on life and being more optimistic could make a difference and is well worth trying for many, many reasons.
