Self Improvement Tip of the Day: Pessimists Often Prove Themselves Right

People who are naturally pessimistic are much more likely to have difficulty dealing with setbacks. They are likely to say things to themselves like 'why does this always happen to me' or 'typical' which serve no productive purpose whatsoever.

Worse still, they actually set themselves up for disappointments before anything even goes wrong. They think about things that have gone wrong in the past and expect to fail again. Unsurprisingly, they are often proven right, which only serves to make them even more pessimistic and negative.
