Self Improvement Tip of the Day: Leaders Are Readers

Self Improvement Tip of the Day: Leaders Are Readers

Each day in the U.S., people spend an average 4 hours watching TV, 3 hours listening to the radio and 14 minutes reading magazines.

It is very often the case that if you enter the home of a successful man, you will be impressed by the size of their library. However, if you enter the home of a man who is just about getting by, or having trouble making ends meet, the first thing you are likely to notice is how big his TV is.

They may sound like tired clichés, but ‘leaders are readers’ and ‘to earn more, learn more’ are more valid today as ever. It also a safe bet that CEO's and other high achievers aren't just reading books about business skills. Much of their reading matters is likely to be motivational and in the area of personal development.

To be continued….

Self Improvement Quote of the Day:

'So please, oh PLEASE, we beg, we pray, Go throw your TV set away, And in its place you can install, A lovely bookshelf on the wall.' - Roald Dahl
