Self Improvement Tip of the Day: The ‘P’ Words of Success - Develop Passion!
Whatever you are trying to achieve in life, you will certainly be more effective and have greater success and enjoy yourself more if you are passionate about what you are working towards. If your reasons for what you want to achieve are important enough you should automatically be passionate and have no problem keeping motivated and doing what it takes to overcome anything to reach your goals. If you don’t feel this way about what you’re trying to achieve, perhaps your goals aren’t compatible with you values, or you haven’t truly established the things that are most important to you.
Compelling goals can often be strong enough reason to allow people to stay in jobs or situations they don’t really enjoy. If you’re in that position, is there anything you could do to make your job more rewarding? Have you even thought about it? If not, perhaps you should look for a new position, because there’s no doubt doing work you find satisfying and can get enthusiastic about will make your life much happier.
Can you make a living or find a job doing something you are passionate about? If you are able to spend your life doing work you feel passionate about, as well has having compelling goals that you are working towards, you’ll never really work another day in your life. Or at least it will never feel like work.
