Self Improvement Tip of the Day: Is Money A Good Motivator?

Many people are driven by the desire for money, although money for the sake of it is rarely a great motivator. The reasons for wanting money can make an enormous difference to how motivated anyone will be to put in the necessary effort. For example, a father who needs money for a life-saving operation for his child will certainly be more likely to succeed than someone who wants money for no reason in particular.

Despite what some people may think, it’s very unusual for money in itself to provide much motivation. It’s what can be done with money that brings about motivation and causes people to take action.
