But you don’t need to be trying to change the world or influence anyone else to be fulfilling a worthwhile purpose. For example, changing yourself and developing and growing as a person, or providing long term security for your family, are noble purposes and excellent motivators. And you will be making a contribution. Other people have bigger goals and ambitions. Whatever you want to achieve in your life, you’ll certainly be much more likely to succeed if you have real passion and purpose.

When you are guided and driven by a strong and compelling purpose, you’ll do what it takes to reach you goals. You won’t procrastinate. You won’t have any trouble taking action. Your biggest problem may well be that you’ll lack patience and may not want to do the planning and preparation that will usually help you reach your goals quicker.

You’ll certainly have the perseverance and persistence to keep going despite any obstacles you come up against. You will be passionate and fired up and you’ll refuse to be denied. You may be working hard but it may not feel like hard work because you’ll be fulfilling a higher need and moving towards your main purpose in life.
